Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
I love when black metal bands derive inspiration from the cosmos. Honestly, what’s more “black”, mysterious and filled with darkness than outer space? Imperialist have made their triumphant return with this killer EP that further cements their status as one of the best USBM/blackened thrash bands doing it today. Just listen to those fiery guitars and vicious vocals! And don’t get me started on those pinpoint accurate drums. Find your nearest tall building and get yourself kidnapped by aliens! Erik Salazar
Killer classic 80s Bay Area crossover thrash, fresh out of Argentina. If you know and love that 'thing', this band has it in spades. Vocals are in Spanish and suit the music just fine, but it's those god-damn riffs that send this into the stratosphere. I don't know why so many thrash bands miss the mark, 'cuz it just sounds so effortless when done right. Lute FP
